As you are all aware this past year we have been attending track events and providing snacks, refreshments, and shelter from the elements to our clients in appreciation for their support at little or no cost to our patrons. This year we will introduce a new fee schedule that will help formalize our participation at these events-don't worry, if you choose not to pay you will still be welcome to come and enjoy yourself at our trailer, the more the merrier. We anticipate providing 3 levels of Track Sport Service: Carbon, Billet and Titanium Track Support.

Carbon Level Track Support-Cost: Free!

This level of track support is designed for the driver that requires support only for the most difficult repairs at the track. Drivers who bring their own tools, can perform routine adjustments, bleed brakes, change brake pads, rotate tires, etc. without any need for help from a professional mechanic. Drivers that participate at the Carbon level are free to enjoy the company of other fellow drivers at our trailer, partake of the snacks and refreshments provided by Beyond OEM, and swap war stories with everyone under the tent. Critical systems should be monitored by the driver, i.e. tire temperatures, tire pressures, tire wear, fluid levels, etc. with minimal oversight provided by our mechanics. Documentation to help monitor critical parameters will be provided. As usual, guidance and advise to help make your DE experience more enjoyable will always be provided. In the event professional mechanic services are rendered at the track, Beyond OEM mechanics will be there to provide the services at $135/hr, plus the cost of all parts and consumables used for the repair/maintenance. Customers who have had service work performed at Beyond OEM during the prior 6 month period qualify for Carbon Track Support. This includes pre-event inspections required by most clubs and sanctioning bodies prior to DE events.

Billet Level Track Support-Cost: $100/Day

This level of track support is designed for the driver that either has no desire and/or skill to professionally attend to their car during a typical driver education event. Here, minor adjustments, bleeding of brakes, tire changes, emergency repairs, etc can be provided throughout the day, but on an as needed basis. Repairs and replacement of parts are completed at no charge for labor; the driver simply has to pay for the parts/consumables used throughout the day. Repairs are limited only those items that can be completed at the track, with parts, tools and equipment available at the track. Critical systems should be monitored by the driver, i.e. tire temperatures, tire pressures, tire wear, fluid levels, etc. with minimal oversight provided by our mechanics. Documentation to help monitor critical parameters will be provided. As usual, guidance and advice to help make your DE experience more enjoyable will always be provided. Billet Track Support will have priority over Carbon Track Support participants. Priority over other Billet Track Support participant customers will be on a first come first serve basis. Customers who have had service work performed at Beyond OEM during the prior 12 month period qualify for Billet Track Support. Pre-event inspections required by most clubs and sanctioning bodies prior to DE events are included at no charge. In addition, customers that sign up for the Billet Track Support service will receive a discounted rate for corner balancing and alignment of their cars prior to the event.

Titanium Level Track Support-Cost: $350/Day, $100 Car Transportation

This level of track support is designed for the driver that wants no worries with respect to his car during the day, minimizes any outside distractions, and simply wishes to focus on driving the car as quickly as possible around the circuit. A true arrive-and-drive program, we can also arrange to have your car at RATL, ready to go awaiting your arrival. At the Titanium level, a higher level of consultation is provided, one that is only found at the professional level. Your personal mechanic, assigned only to your car, will monitor and record all critical systems throughout the day, analyze data, and make all necessary adjustments in an effort to attain optimum performance levels specific to the existing conditions. Labor for all the work is included in the daily rate. Participation at this level dies require the purchase of all parts and consumables used for any repairs and/or maintenance throughout the event. In addition to the Pre-event inspections required by most clubs and sanctioning bodies prior to DE events , we will also complete a 32 point inspection which specifically addresses those areas of your car that are most likely to fail when experiencing advanced tracking. In addition, customers that sign up for the Titanium Track Support service will receive a discounted rate for corner balancing and alignment of their cars prior to the event

It appears that Road Atlanta will host 15 DE events throughout the 2009 calender year. It is our aim to enhance the experience associated with these events by bringing together our customers and clients in an atmosphere that promotes camaraderie, competition, and above all safety. We hope that the success of this program will lead us to expand it to other tracks and to include other services with, again, an aim to enhance our customers' overall track day experience. As always, you can bring your car by the shop prior to the next RATL event where we can complete the tech inspection, fill in and sign your club's Tech inspection Form for a $25 fee.
